Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Stalin E Commerce Company (GSTIN 09GSNPP1125A1ZU), 155 Damodar Nagar, Barra, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh 208027, India ("we", "us"), collects, uses and protects personal data when you use the Zoomcast Chrome extension and the website enviable.in (the "Service"). We are the data fiduciary / data controller for the data described here.
This policy is written to meet the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 (India) and related rules, and, where they apply to you, the EU/UK GDPR and US state privacy laws such as the CCPA/CPRA.
1. The short version
- Zoomcast works locally. Your recordings, the pages you record, and your clicks and cursor movements never leave your computer and are never sent to us.
- The extension has no account, no telemetry, no analytics and no advertising.
- When you buy a licence, we receive the details needed to deliver and support it (name, email, country, order details). Card details are handled by our payment partner, never by us.
- We do not sell or rent your personal data.
2. Data we collect
| Purchase and billing | Name, email address, billing country/postcode, order ID, product, price, tax and payment status. Collected through our Merchant of Record, Dodo Payments. We do not receive your full card number or bank credentials. |
|---|---|
| Licence | Licence keys are created and managed by Dodo Payments and linked to your purchase. When you activate a key, the extension sends the key and a generic device label (for example "Chrome on macOS") to Dodo Payments, which confirms it and records one active computer. About once a month, when you are online, the extension sends the key again to check it is still valid (for example after a refund). Nothing else is sent: no recordings, page content, clicks or browsing. |
| Support | Whatever you choose to send us by email, such as your name, email address and the content of your message. |
| Website | Standard server and security logs kept by our hosting provider (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time) for up to 30 days to keep the site secure and working. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. |
| Extension updates | Installs and updates are delivered by the Chrome Web Store under Google's privacy policy. We do not receive data from that process beyond aggregate install counts Google shows developers. |
Data we do not collect: your recordings or exported videos, the content or addresses of pages you record, your clicks, keystrokes or cursor movements, or your browsing history.
Extension permissions
| Active tab | Lets Zoomcast act on the tab you are looking at, only after you click its icon or press its shortcut. |
|---|---|
| Tab capture | Records the video and sound of the tab you start recording from. Nothing is captured until you press Start. |
| Offscreen document | Runs the recorder in the background while you use the tab. |
| Scripting | Shows the 3-second countdown and notes where you click, drag and move the pointer on the tab being recorded, only while it is being recorded, so the editor can place zooms. It never reads what you type. This data stays on your computer. |
| Website access (optional, off by default) | Only requested if you turn on Follow new pages, so zooms keep working after the recorded tab opens another page. You can turn it off at any time. |
| Storage and unlimited storage | Saves your latest recording, editor settings, whether your free export has been used, and your licence key, all on your computer. Unlimited storage lets longer recordings fit. Uninstalling Zoomcast deletes all of it. |
Zoomcast's use of information received through Chrome APIs follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We do not sell, transfer or use this data for advertising, creditworthiness or any purpose unrelated to Zoomcast's single purpose of recording and editing tab videos.

7. Security
We use reasonable security practices consistent with the IT (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, including encryption in transit, access controls and minimal data collection.
