Adstash puts a Save button on every image and video ad in the Meta Ad Library, so you can keep the ads you study in one click. It also opens Ad Library searches from your address bar and right-click menu. It runs in your browser, with no account and no tracking.

What it does

• Save buttons on every image and video ad. Videos are saved in HD when the ad offers it.
• Address bar search: type @ads, a space and any link (for example @ads example.com/shoes) to see that domain's ads.
• Exact phrases and dates: put words in quotes for an exact phrase; add -7d for ads started in the last 7 days, or -14d -7d for a range.
• Right-click search: select text on any page, right-click, and choose Search the Ad Library.
• Default format: show all media, only video, only images, or images and memes in every search.

Pricing

Adstash is free right now. It will become $5 every 2 months, one plan with every feature. Until then, Adstash reminds you about the change about once a month when Chrome starts. You will never be charged automatically: when the paid plan starts you choose whether to subscribe, and you can cancel any time. Your first payment has a 7-day refund. Help

The Save button doesn't appear

• Make sure you are on facebook.com/ads/library. Adstash runs on no other page.
• Open Adstash settings (click its toolbar icon) and check Save buttons is on.
• Reload the page and scroll a little. Buttons are added a second or so after ads load.
• Meta sometimes changes the Ad Library's layout, which can hide the buttons until we update Adstash. Email us and we'll fix it.

A download fails or saves in low quality

• Wait for the ad to finish loading, then press Save again.
• HD is only saved when the ad has an HD version. Otherwise Adstash saves the best quality the player offers.
• Check Chrome isn't blocking downloads from facebook.com (Settings → Privacy and security → Site settings → Automatic downloads).

@ads does nothing in the address bar

• Type @ads, then press Space or Tab. You should see Adstash appear at the start of the address bar before you type the link.
• If another extension uses @ads, Chrome picks one of them. Turn the other one off at chrome://extensions.

The right-click item is missing

It only appears when text is selected. Check Right-click search is on in Adstash settings.

How do I change the default media type?

Click the Adstash toolbar icon to open settings, then pick a value under Media type. It applies to searches you start from Adstash and to Ad Library pages you open.

Is my data sent anywhere?

No. Your searches, saved ads and settings stay in your browser. See the Privacy Policy.

How do I remove Adstash?

Right-click its toolbar icon and choose Remove from Chrome. This deletes all its settings.
