Chrome extension launching soon

Screen recordings that zoom where you click.

A Chrome extension for tutorials. Click to zoom in, drag to zoom out. Everything stays on your computer.

How it works

  1. Record

Click the Zoomcast icon on any tab and press Start. Use the page the way you normally would.

  2. Click and drag

Every click becomes a zoom. Clicks close together share one smooth shot. Drags pull the camera back out.

  3. Export

Pick a background, adjust the zoom depth and export a WebM video for your docs, course or channel.

Read the step-by-step guide, or try the practice page once you have it installed.

Made for videos people can follow

Zooms planned like camera shots

Zoomcast looks at the whole take before it zooms. Nearby clicks share one zoom, and the camera pans between them.

Drag, and it zooms out

Moving a slider, a card or a file? The camera pulls back so the whole move stays in view.

A cursor you can follow

A crisp pointer and a click ripple are drawn on top, so viewers never lose track.

Backgrounds and padding

Frame your take on a gradient with rounded corners and a soft shadow.

Start and stop from the keyboard

One shortcut starts recording after a 3-second countdown. Press it again to stop and open the editor.

Your recordings never leave your computer.

Zoomcast is fully local. Recording, editing and export all happen inside Chrome on your machine. We never see your videos, the pages you record or what you click.

Try it free. Then $10, once.

Record and edit as much as you like. Your first export is free. After that, a lifetime license is $10 for the first 10 customers.

Questions

Which browsers does it work in?

Google Chrome 116 or newer on Windows, macOS and Linux. Other Chromium browsers such as Edge and Brave should work but are not tested yet.

Does it record my whole screen?

This version records one browser tab, including the tab's sound. Other apps and your desktop are not recorded.

Where are my recordings kept?

Only on your computer, inside the extension's own storage. We never receive your videos.

What file do I get?

A WebM video at up to 1920 pixels wide. YouTube and most course platforms accept it directly.

How does the one-computer license work?

One purchase covers one computer. Getting a new machine? Email us and we will move your license.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Recording and editing are always free, and your first export is free too. You only need a license to export more videos.

Do you store my videos or data?

No. Zoomcast is fully local and has no servers that receive your recordings, clicks or browsing. Uninstalling the extension deletes everything it saved.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. Ask within 7 days of buying and you get your money back. See the refund policy.
